I've been interviewing with people to understand what they think about the words designer and UX designer and tried to make observations.
I'm really tired of telling people what my job is. When I said UX designer, some of them cannot associate it with anything and ask me to describe it and the other part is saying like "oo got it, you're a designer". And I'm saying "yep, I'm a designer". Because even I think a lot about these titles and cannot make a clear judgment.
The other day, after I'd had a similar situation, I decided to do this little project by asking people 2 questions to have an idea about what these titles evoke in their world?
By the way, I did not use the real names of the people, I'm just writing their ages and jobs so that you can make some observations if you want.
This is an ongoing personal project where I see what people think about design titles and I’ll try to do it with more people.
